News: Dormer to create world class training facilities in Rotherham

As building work progresses on Dormer Tool's new UK base at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham, details of the training facilities indicate that it will be world-class and could easily match Dormer's facilities already located at Rovereto in Italy, Sao Paulo in Brazil and Halmstad in Sweden. The impressive new facilities will boast a capacity for up to 40 people and will include theatre style lecture facilities, LCD screens for close-up visuals of machining and a gallery viewing area. Dormer will also invest in two new DMG machine tools, allowing us to demonstrate tooling in a number of different ways. The Swedish-owned company intends to host new product launches, provide suitable environments for testing and conduct customer surgery days. Alongside the training facilities, the Rotherham base will also include a showcase area.
