News: Business Link competition announced

Business Link Yorkshire are searching for local businesses who are bucking the trend.

As part of a new competition, Business Link are looking for a company that can demonstrate tenacity and innovation and has a "can do" attitude.

Winners of the Bucking the Trend competition will win six months of mentoring from top business leaders such as Gordon Bridge, chief executive of Rotherham company, Aesseal.

Entrants can be organisations of any size who have been trading at least 12 months and that have a base in Yorkshire.

Business Link want to acknowledge and celebrate exceptional companies who can inspire other businesses. Judges will be looking for an organisation taking an innovative approach to create real success – a company exceeding all expectations to deliver real and measurable results. Winners will show outstanding examples of achievements and attainments, and a commitment to success through innovation.

The deadline for entries is May 14 and all finalists will also win £250 tickets to the Yorkshire International Business Convention in Harrogate or Bridlington.
