News: New finance man for YES! Project developer

Oak Holdings, the developers of the £300m YES! Project in Rotherham has appointed Mike Williams, to join the Board.

A founder director of CDC, he will oversee the financial function of the group following the resignation of Finance Director, Mike Hill.

Williams is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a chartered engineer. He is widely recognised as a leading visionary in the field of integrated systems within intelligent buildings and the built environment.

The Board also announced the creation of a new trading subsidiary, Rother Valley Railway Limited, which will construct and operate a narrow gauge railway in the Rother Valley Country Park in Rotherham.

Further Board appointments are expected shortly as Oak expands its activities from pure property development to encompass leisure operations including the successful assimilation of the management of the Rother Valley Country Park.
