News: Unique sponsorship deal for BT Local Business
The South Yorkshire & Humber branch of BT Local Business are the new stadium sponsors for the world's first and oldest Football Club, Sheffield FC.
The 2,000 capicity ground in Dronfield will now be called "The BT Local Business Stadium" for the next two years.
It was officially unveiled as the BT Local Business Stadium on Saturday September 5, when Sheffield FC entertained Mickleover Sports in a Unibond League match, the result seeing Sheffield FC winning 4-2.
The stadium also hosted the 1st Qualifying Round match in the FA Cup which saw Sheffield FC lose out to FC United of Manchester 3-1.
BT has opened a network of 60 small, independent BT Local Businesses across the UK aimed at providing information and communications technology solutions to small enterprises. In South Yorkshire & Humber, BT Local Business is operated by Cutler Communications of Templeborough, Rotherham.
