News: Breed's success in Rotherham Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards

Life-long friends Scott Jackson and Steve Scaife never imagined, sat in the classroom next to each other all those years ago, that one day they would be running an award-winning business together.
Steve, a web designer who has worked for a string of large Internet firms, said: "I
just looked at the work and knew I could do better than that, and for less money
too."
He teamed up with graphic designer Scott, who had been working as a freelance for some time, and the pair began to pick up new contracts.
Steve added: "I thought I'd work in a large corporation and never thought for a million years I'd be running my own business, with Scott as well."
Established three years ago, Breed has recently moved to RiDO's Fusion @ Magna business centre. Comprising of a team of designers, developers and programmers their portfolio ranges from the design of corporate logos and business stationery to full e-commerce web sites.
Over the past 12 months Breed has started working with the local council and the NHS and earlier this year they became a preferred supplier to Business Link Yorkshire and were awarded the highest rating of 5 stars.
The overall winner of the Rotherham Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, sponsored by UK Steel Enterprise, will be announced at the Rotherham Chamber Awards dinner on October 23.
