News: Sweet deal for Inditherm

By

Rotherham based Inditherm has been selected to heat a new process line for the UK operation of a major multi-national confectionery manufacturer, with American parent company.

This is the fourth major project Inditherm will have supplied to this manufacturer and is valued at just under £100k and is scheduled for completion early in 2010.

The installation will use Inditherm's advanced heating system based on energy efficient polymer technology, combined with their latest food-grade insulation and cladding system, to maintain the temperature of a syrup product used in the manufacturing process.

The manufacturer needed a system implemented quickly with the cost of implementation being the main consideration.

Inditherm's CEO Nick Bettles said: "This customer already appreciates the advantages that Inditherm solutions offer, but in this case implementation cost was critical.

"Many customers think that the advanced performance Inditherm delivers will mean a premium price, so it was important to show that the system was competitive.

"Experience shows that the low energy costs and negligible maintenance requirements of our system will deliver substantial further savings during the operational life."
