News: Yorkshire Crisps and Magna combine

By

The newest flavour of Rotherham-made Yorkshire Crips will feature Magna's Big Melt on the packaging.

Based at Waleswood in Rotherham, Yorkshire Crisps pride themselves on using locally grown ingredients to produce their much loved hand cooked crisps. Even the packaging is produced in Yorkshire.

The new Sweet Chilli and Lime flavour is to be no different, as Chilli is a hot flavour Yorkshire Crisps were looking for a hot industry to feature on the front of the packet and the steel industry came straight to mind.

The new packs feature an image from Magna's Big Melt display, a reconstruction of the melting process in the former steelworks.

Anna Holdsworth Marketing Assistant at Magna said: "I was very excited when Yorkshire Crisps approached us and offered Magna the chance to have our image on the packaging of the new flavour, The Big Melt is an iconic offering of the visitor experience here at Magna with its thunderous roar echoing through the building every hour.

"All the staff have taste-tested the crisps and these will be stocked in our shop and Fuel Restaurant"
