By

Dormer Tools will be unveiling a new product branding strategy for the UK market at the MACH 2010 event.

The changes, which will affect more than 30 per cent of Dormer's entire product range, are set to make it even easier for customers to identify which tool is best suited for their application.

Guests to the Dormer stand at the NEC, Birmingham, between June 7-11, will also have the chance to get up close and personal to the rear running section of a Red Bull F1 car, while watching a video of components for the vehicle being machined.

To mark their close links with the Milton Keynes based team Dormer will give away a pair of tickets, worth more than £500, for the 2010 British Grand Prix at the new-look Silverstone.

Potential customers who "Challenges Dormer" at MACH to help their business achieve productivity savings will be entered into a prize draw to win the Formula 1 tickets.

John O'Donoghue, general manager of Dormer Tools, said: "We see MACH as a great opportunity for our company. Since the last show in 2008 there has been a lot of turmoil in our industry. We believe Dormer's presence is a significant show of strength and proof of our continuing ambition to provide the best quality tooling and technical support."

MACH is the UK's premier showcase of the latest manufacturing technologies, drawing visitors from all over the world. As such, around 500 companies will be exhibiting the latest developments in metalforming and metalworking.

Also at the event will be The Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre's Manufacturing Transporter (MANTRA> - a specially equipped 14m long lorry designed to give aspiring young engineers a hands on experience with real, leading-edge manufacturing technologies.
