News: Assured signs outdoor leisure contract

Rotherham's Assured Fire and Security has been awarded major new contracts with one of Britain's leading independent camping and outdoor retailers.

The Dinnington-based fire and security specialist will be providing fire alarms, extinguishers and intruder alarm systems for Yeomans Outdoor Leisure new stores.

Established in Chesterfield in 1904, Yeomans Outdoor Leisure has over 100 years experience in the camping equipment market, with one of the largest selection and stocks of tents available in the UK today.

Yeomans Project Manager Roy Woodfield said: "Assured have provided an excellent service for several new contracts we have awarded them.

"We need a company who can provide national cover and they are different to other national providers because of their transparency and hands on approach right through the organisation which is unique with larger companies."

Assured Operations Director Matthew Spivey added: "We are delighted to be working with Yeomans Outdoor Leisure as they continue their programme of expansion.

"We already have a heavy concentration of national fire and security contracts so it is a great pleasure for us to be able to add a locally-based company to our portfolio.
