By

Claire Young, top business woman and finalist in the BBC's Apprentice in 2008, has teamed up with Lifeskills to deliver a variety of learning workshops as part of the Lifeskills Apprenticeship Programme.

Rotherham born managing director, Spencer Fearn, has developed the company over the last eight years in London and the South East and LifeSkills are recognised as one of the leading Learning Providers in the UK.

Claire will be delivering workshops in Rotherham to Business Administration apprentices.

Spencer Fearn, Lifeskills Managing Director, said: "Claire has such an impressive CV in motivational speaking, business master classes and consultancy it really was a coup to get her onboard...Alan Sugar's loss is certainly our gain!

"Hopefully people will see this as a sure intention of how we continually strive to find the very best people to deliver the very best training so our Learners have every chance of going out there and getting the careers they really want."

In addition, LifeSkills has won a contract to deliver ESF and Foundation Learning programmes in Rotherham from November of this year.

A partnership has been formed with IGEN, Rotherham Titans and Rotherham United named Rotherham Forward, which will provide a wide range of learning opportunities for young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) in the Rotherham area.

Spencer added: "We are delighted to secure this funding and look forward to forming many more positive partnerships to ensure the young people of Rotherham have a variety of options available to them."
