News: Forde Group move to Manvers House in Rotherham

By

Forde, the specialist installer of low-energy heating systems and screed floors, has moved to new premises in the Dearne Valley in Rotherham.

The company has also opened a new final flooring division to meet demand from clients, helping to expand and bolster its successful underfloor heating and popular renewable technology business.

Forde work on anything from small self build projects to large commercial developments throughout the UK and within all sectors of the construction industry. Accreditations include CHAS, Constructionline and they are platinum members of the CSCS scheme for the site safety of operatives. Forde has also secured MCS accreditation for the installation of Air Source Heat Pump technologies.

Recent projects include providing an underfloor heating system for Winterhill School in Rotherham and for a large private housing development in Yarm. They have also been involved in a special pilot scheme designed to improve sustainability and energy efficiency within fuel poverty dwellings in Barnsley.

Anthony Hoe, managing director at Forde, said: "With 2011 expected to be a very busy year, the timing was right to move. The new premises will allow Forde to grow and develop naturally and hopefully take on new employees throughout the year without resticting ourselves.

"Having had so many clients request for us to install the final floor covering, it absolutely makes sense that we fulfill that demand. We will bring to this new branch of the business the same ethos from all the established divisions within Forde, meaning that delivering the same quality service will be paramount."
