News: Jewel Saffire relocate in Rotherham
Specialist fire extinguisher producer, Jewel Saffire, has taken space on the Hellaby Industrial Estate in Rotherham.
The new premises represent an increase in office size for Jewel Saffire who are the largest independent trade manufacturer of fire products in the UK. The unit will provide a new distribution centre with the facility to handle sales, accounts, marketing, distribution and warehousing.
Nick Link, Group Managing Director, Jewel Saffire said: "We moved here to streamline our operations. Our aim was to achieve one large distribution site and this location has enabled us to achieve it.
"The new plot represents a significant investment for the business with the driver being improved efficiency, delivery, cost control, customer service and increased opportunity for growth - it has been a tremendous success!."
Jewel Fire Products Ltd was formed in 2007 to wholesale to the Fire Trade. They acquired Saffire Products Ltd in 2009 to form Jewel Saffire Products Ltd. They employ over 40 staff and have manufacturing sites in Nottingham and China.
The company has recently launched its new patented "Dry-Mist" system which has a minute droplet size and low pressure providing a lengthy time of effective fire fighting using a small amount of water.
The industrial department at Sanderson Weatherall assisted the company in the move from Amber Court Business Centre to Denby Way.
Jonathon White, Senior Surveyor at Sanderson Weatherall said: "We're delighted to welcome Jewel Saffire to their new premises.
"Enquiry levels definitely appear to be increasing, albeit gradually and we're quietly optimistic that 2011 will see an improved number of transactions over 2010."
