News: Purex launch FumeCube

Rotherham company, Purex International Ltd, has launched an enhanced fume extractor called the FumeCube.

The Manvers firm manufacture systems that capture fumes at the source, preventing fumes escaping into the workplace, before filtering and recycling them meaning that fumes are not pumped into the outside environment.


To protect workers from hazardous fumes and to help ensure the employer complies with health & safety regulations, Purex has released the enhanced FumeCube Fume Extraction System. It is a compact, quiet and portable fume extraction system that can be connected to workbench for applications such as soldering, gluing and chemical handling.

Purex supply fume extraction systems and services to some of the world's biggest and best known companies including Rolls-Royce, Nokia and Sony. The company currently employs over 40 people in two countries, with forecast annual sales in excess of £6m.
