News: In-tend secure college contracts
Rotherham e-procurement specialists, In-tend Ltd, has announced that two more further education establishments have chosen to use their e-Procurement solutions.
Based in RiDO's Moorgate Crofts business centre, In-tend offer a suite of products that provide buyers with an easy to use mechanism in which to complete many of their procurement needs. It enables a buyer to procure efficiently and includes modules such as Contract Management and e-Auctions.
University College Birmingham now have the use of the e-tendering module within the In-tend suite to help with creating the initial tender and sourcing suitable suppliers, right through to the award of the contract.
Barnsley College now have the use of the e-Tendering and Contract Management modules within the In-tend suite for their eSourcing needs and these were implemented at the beginning of March.
They are now part of the group of 300+ institutions who use the In-tend software including Universities, FE Colleges, large Local Government authorities and other establishments worldwide. They are all able to access the In-Tend Community, an open marketplace for customers to share ideas and knowledge, to receive support and information.
Next month the company are running an event aimed helping businesses improve their tender submissions. On May 18 in Rotherham, a mixture of the public sector buyer experience from the In-tend team and expert procurement consultants will deliver an in-depth look into tenders, their submission, and how the buyers decide who to award the contract to.
