News: Arden leaves Parseq

By

Richard Arden, chief financial officer, has stepped down from the board of Parseq, a leading provider of technology-led turnkey outsourcing solutions and mobile and online banking software.

Parseq was created last year following a successful reverse takeover by Rami Cassis and Rotherham-based BPO provider, Documetric.

Richard Arden joined Documetric in September 2008 as finance director and oversaw rapid growth from £1.8m in annual revenues in 2007 to £16.45m in 2010. In 2009, Documetric secured a £2m investment from the Capital for Enterprise (CfE) fund to support the growth.

Phillip Blundell, ACA, currently managing director of Parseq's Software division, has been appointed as chief financial officer and Arden has agreed to stay on until the end of the month to provide support during a handover period.

Rami Cassis, chief executive, will oversee the running of the Software division until a new divisional head is appointed and the Directors expect to make a further announcement regarding an appointment in due course.

Rami Cassis said: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to wish Richard well for the future. The Company has developed and grown significantly during his time here and we thank him for his commitment and dedication.

"I am pleased to confirm Phillip's appointment as Chief Financial Officer. His experience and knowledge of the business will prove an invaluable asset as we continue to build and develop the company."

From their Hellaby facility, the company provides a wide range of value-add services, from payments and applications processing, through inbound and outbound voice services, to business intelligence and data analytics. It services a blue chip client base which includes Barclays, British Gas, British Energy, BP, Deutsche Bank, FedEx, Johnson & Johnson, Lloyds Banking Group, National Australia Group, HSBC, Orange, RBS Group, Santander, Shell, and Vodafone.
