News: New team members aid Assured expansion

By

Fast-growing Rotherham company, Assured Fire and Security is continuing its year of expansion with three new additions to the team.

Alistair Crawford (pictured, right) joins the Dinnington based fire and security specialist as Service Co-ordinator.

Adrian Davidson (pictured, left) takes up a post in telesales, developing new maintenance contract leads and dealing with current client needs as part of the company's customer service focus.

At national level, Paul O'Connor joins the Assured southern team as Service Engineer for the South and Midlands areas, working out of Birmingham.

Simon Stokes, managing director at Assured, said: "These are three more extremely important appointments for Assured.

"As we continue our nationwide expansion over the coming months we need a team that can meet the challenges of developing new important markets at the same time as providing vital continued support for our existing clients."

Last month, Assured secured a £50,000 loan from UKSE to assist the company to increase turnover in the next five years to £15m; five times that which it reported last year. Equally importantly, it will help the company to quadruple its workforce to almost 200 once their nationwide expansion is complete.

The latest contract win comes from St Luke's Hospice in Sheffield as they extend their contract covering full CCTV, access control, fire extinguishers and a complete fire alarm and emergency lighting programme for the hospice which is set for major redevelopment.
