News: Beatson Clark supplies iconic Buttercup brand
Rotherham glass manufacturer, Beatson Clark is supplying the packaging for the latest product from the Buttercup syrup brand.
Bell Sons & Co has chosen the Amber 150ml SS Flat glass bottle for its client, Omega Pharma UK's new product, Buttercup Chesty Cough Oral Solution.
Glass packaging is an essential requirement for some pharmaceuticals, its inert capabilities ensures that there is no cross contamination from the packaging to the product itself.
Beatson's amber bottles, manufactured at their Greasborough Road facility, have the added advantage of providing UV protection to the product and it can be more cost effective than clear glass whilst giving the appearance of superior quality.
Charlotte Taylor, marketing manager for Beatson Clark, said: "We are delighted to be providing Bells with the bottle for the iconic Buttercup brand. As Beatson Clark established its own brand 260 years ago, it was the pharmaceutical industry that benefitted from the company's knowledge and understanding of glass packaging.
"In fact we still, today, have one of the largest portfolios of pharmaceutical products in the world, with our general sale range boasting over 130 items, plus the many bespoke products we produce.
