News: New starters at In-tend

Rotherham e-procurement specialists, In-tend has added new staff to their growing team.


Based in RiDO's Moorgate Crofts business centre, In-tend's procurement software is accessed and utilised by over 300 organizations including universities, colleges and local authorities. 5,000 registered users manage in excess of £10 billion in contracts and there are currently over 100,000 suppliers.

Dave Nichols, who has over 20 years experience in the procurement industry, is the new project manager. Using his wealth of knowledge in private and public sector procurement, Dave will be matching In-tend's software to the needs of our customers and providing consultancy including assisting buyers in creating their tenders and helping suppliers put together their tender submissions.

Steve Kay has joined the team to bring his knowledge of EU public procurement legislation and Damian Gillott has been appointed as the new system trainer.

Damian said: "I am really excited to join the In-tend team. Having come from a managerial background in the service industry, I am looking forward to meeting all our customers.

"As a trainer for the In-tend Organiser, I will be able to channel my interest for computers by contributing to the development and training of the e-Tendering system and rise to any challenges along the way."
