News: Breakfast at Myplace


A new business networking group is launching in Rotherham town centre next week.

Breakfast at Myplace will take place in the £3.4m youth centre which opened last year as part of the national Myplace initiative. It has been developed by a local partnership led by YMCA White Rose and involving the Council and other local partners.

Designed by Rotherham Council's in-house architects and built by Wildgoose Construction, the centre off St Ann's roundabout in Rotherham town centre, includes a theatre, professional recording studio, IT suite, activity rooms, meeting rooms and a café.

The launch will be held on Tuesday June 19, from 7.30am to 9.00am and will includes a speed networking session, a business card draw, and opportunities for informal networking.

The launch event is free and includes breakfast and refreshments and there will also be the opportunity to have a tour of the new £3.4m Myplace Centre.
