News: AD Industrie takes space on Rotherham's AMP

By

AD Industrie, a leading French-based engineering business, is the latest company to join the ranks of the world-class companies based at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Rotherham, having taken a tenancy in the AMP Technology Centre.

With headquarters in Paris, the industrial group specialises in mechanical engineering and hydraulics. They manufacture technical parts and precision assemblies for the safety critical sectors of aerospace, defense and energy and enjoy a turnover of £150m.

The company names Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Snecma, Bombardier, Messier Bugatti Dowty, Thales, Siemens and Alstom Power amongst its customers.

Barry Hindson from AD Industrie, said: "We chose the AMP location against other locations specifically due to its technology association and involvement in the Aerospace sector and related industries. The AD Industrie group supply many customers who are also involved on the AMP, one example being Rolls Royce, so there is a good synergy.

"The presence of relevant "Centre's of Excellence" was also a factor in the selection process plus the flexibility of the AMP Technology Centre in providing a location that could evolved alongside the group's development in the UK."

Philippa Hedley from the Advanced Manufacturing & Materials (AMM) Team added: "It is great to welcome AD Industrie to the AMP, and to see that the Park continues to attract leading international companies. We look forward to working with the AD Industrie team in the future as they continue to develop and grow their presence here at the AMP."
