News: Blundells move into Rotherham
South Yorkshire's leading estate agency, Blundells, is furthering its expansion across the region with the opening of a new office in Wickersley, Rotherham.
Work is already underway on the branch on the Tanyard, which will be the second Blundells office to open in Rotherham in less than a year, following the company's acquisition of Mike Jolly Estates on Moorgate Road in September 2011.
The office, which is scheduled to open in September, will provide sales and lettings expertise as well as financial services including mortgage advice and property management for landlords.
Steve Hinshelwood, managing director of Blundells, said: "We're delighted to be making a move into Wickersley. Tanyard Crescent is a fantastic location with a high footfall, so it made perfect sense to place our newest office right in the heart of it.
"The Blundells name is well known throughout South Yorkshire and we are looking forward to further expanding our brand into Rotherham, along with the expertise and experience that we are known for."
Blundells has steadily expanded its network of branches over the last 18 months since it was acquired by the Countrywide Group in June 2011. Once opened, the Wickersley office will take the number of Blundells branches in the South Yorkshire and North Derbyshire region to 19.
