News: Accreditation for Custom Metal Products
Custom Metal Products (CMP), a Rotherham based metal company is celebrating achieving the Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS) accreditation.
The Masbrough firm offers bespoke general fabrications, sheet metal work, high definition plasma profiling and general engineering services.
Howard Hughes, owner of CMP, said: "We are really proud to have achieved this accreditation. Industry standards are vitally important to us and we are delighted to have this stamp of approval.
“This means that we have been assessed by CHAS as an organisation for our health and safety policies, and working practices. Our customers and clients can be assured that our health and safety policy, methods statements, working procedures and systems of work are all of a required standard."
CHAS has been working to improve health and safety standards across the country since its inception in 1997 and is the market leader for H&S pre-qualification in the UK.
Howard, added: "Our business has been built up over the past three years offering general fabrications, sheet metal work, high definition plasma profiling and general engineering which are all bespoke to customer requirements and designs.
“Our work is so varied we've manufactured everything from trolleys to materials handling equipment, refurbished food manufacturing equipment, sheet metal products, enclosures, signage, street furniture, access stairs, ladders and shop fittings.
“We are proud of our achievements and we are working on some really interesting projects with big name contractors."
CMP work with a number of clients across the country and are also working on a project exporting their work to France.
