By

The Rotherham-based Yorkshire Crisp Company has added a sweet new product to its range – Yorkshire Popcorn.

The Waleswood company produces hand-made crisps made from local vegetables and totally natural flavours. It produces ten flavours of luxury hand cooked crisps including Roast Lamb & Mint and "Nowt On," which are sold at regional supermarkets, delis, bars and independent retailers. They are also sold around the world in places like Dubai and Korea thanks to a growing number of export deals.

Available in 90g re-sealable drums, the new popcorn range is locally-made and comes in three toffee-coated varieties – Luxury Toffee; Strawberry & Cherry Toffee, and Coconut Toffee.

A spokesperson for The Yorkshire Crisp Company, said: "We wanted to launch a new sweet product that would complement our range of crisps and we are very excited with these three new additions.

"Andrew Lloyd Webber's West End theatres are stocking the popcorn alongside our crisps for theatre-goers to enjoy, as well as being on sale in many independent retailers and farm-shops."

As well as other theatres including Delfont Mackintosh, Nimax and Ambassador Theatre groups, prestigious stockists of Yorkshire Crisps include John Lewis food halls, Virgin Atlantic, Hotel du Vin and Malmaison Hotels.
