News: Bearings developed & produced in Rotherham are helping to harness the power of the Yangtze river

Orkot bearings, developed and produced at manufacturing company Trelleborg Sealing Systems Rotherham, have proved integral to the creation of the world's largest the world's largest hydro electric power station, at the world's largest hydroelectric river dam. The Three Gorges Dam which spans the Yangtze river in China is 1.5 miles wide and the huge power station will have a capapacity of 22,500MW.
