Rotherham based Inditherm has been recognised at the The Medilink Yorkshire and Humber Healthcare Business Awards 2008 for exporting their innovative medical products worldwide. The designer and manufacturer of products for heating and warming were awarded the Yorkshire Bank ‘Export’ award last week. Inditherm's energy efficient polymer technology is used in heating mattresses, pipework, sports pitches, storage vessels and medical treatments and the company now works with over 30 medical distributors and overseas partners. The awards were part of Medilink's Innovation Day which included a speech from Brian James, Chief Executive of Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust and star of the BBC’s ‘Can Gerry Robinson Fix the NHS’, speaking about innovation and its major role in the development of any organisation.
