Nationwide Media Group is launching a business event in Yorkshire designed to help SMEs compete during difficult times. Business Yorkshire will take place on 1-2 October at Doncaster Racecourse. Based on the highly successful formula of Business North West held for the past two years in Manchester, Business Yorkshire is a new event designed for owners, directors and entrepreneurs running small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) in the region. Scott Hider, Managing Director of Nationwide Media Group, comments, “Yorkshire is a business hot spot and the obvious location for us to expand our portfolio of business events. In the current economic climate, it is more important than ever that businesses are networking in person with prospects and customers. Exhibitions and conferences are the ideal opportunity for this, which is clearly visible in the huge amount of interest we have received in the event.” Exhibitors confirmed so far include Rotherham based Business & Education South Yorkshire and Oxford Innovation, operators of the Innovation Technology Centre at the AMP.
