News: Bright future for Horbury

By

Leading construction firm, the Horbury Group, is adding to its rapidly expanding portfolio with the launch of a new electrical contracting company. Croft Electrical Engineering Ltd will provide a wide range of services including planned maintenance, facilities management, fire alarm systems, security systems, data systems, power and lighting and access control. Trevor Wragg, managing director of the Horbury Group, said: "We are already well established in a number of areas including joinery, suspended ceilings, partitioning, dry lining and steel framed systems. This recent expansion adds another string to our bow as we look to expand what we can offer to the construction industry into the electrical market." The Rotherham-based Horbury Group, which formed in Sheffield in 1993 as Horbury Building Systems, has gone from strength-to-strength over recent years, increasing its turnover from £1.4m in its first year to £63m and now employing over 800 people nationally. The group recently brought together its operations to their brand new headquarters in Rotherham.
