News: Rotherham Renaissance – getting the message out there

By

Rotherham has unveiled a new brand identity for its regeneration programme – Rotherham Renaissance…see it – believe it! Vice Chair of Rotherham’s Town Team and Director of the Chamber of Commerce, Mike Smith, said: “’See it – believe it’ replaces the old strapline of ‘a new beginning’ because we’re no longer at the beginning. A number of sites are now under construction, bringing high-quality retail, residential, office, health and leisure facilities to the town centre.” Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and other partners will use the new brand to promote the town and its regeneration plans, part of Yorkshire Forward’s Renaissance towns and cities initiative, to visitors, investors and residents. The new logo will be launched on buses, hoardings and billboards and will be used on other publicity concerning Renaissance activity. Information on Rotherham’s Renaissance can now be found easily on the new and improved http://www.rotherhamrenaissance.co.uk/ website. Not only is there an update on each of the town centre developments but also a chance to read the latest newsletters, publications and, most importantly, people are able to ask questions and share thoughts using the new commenting and feedback facility.
