News: Export mission for new Martek sales recruit

Sales recruit, Alex Smith, has made his maiden voyage to Greece for Rotherham's Martek. The visit to Athens was made with the intention of creating introductions and contacts in his new sales territory. Alex commented on his visit: "The trip was a great start for my training, Greece was fantastic. "Whilst it was a really positive trip there were a few issues. The weather was incredibly hot compared to Rotherham and the traffic was quite frantic, it’s certainly something I need to get used to!" Alex intends to return to Greece in the autumn to continue dialogue with interested parties for Martek’s full range of emissions monitoring, gas detection, water detection and life-saving appliances. Last month, Martek recruited Sean Howe as their new Service and Continuous Improvement Manager.
