News: MP returns to celebrate Rotherham enterprise achievements

By

Wentworth MP John Healey is returning home to Rotherham to celebrate the successes of a youth enterprise project that he helped to pioneer. Rotherham Ready is holding a celebration event at Rotherham Town Hall on Friday September 19 at 9:30. Rotherham Ready was established four years ago with the ambition of providing all people in the borough between the ages of four and 19 with entrepreneurial skills and business acumen. John Healey MP, an early Rotherham Ready pioneer and supporter of the project, is coming back to share in the successes of the project, which include its achievement of the first ever Warwick Platinum Awards for Enterprise Education and having its teaching recognised in the national teaching awards. It also recently became the first organisation of its kind to undergo an Ofsted inspection, from which it received a glowing report. Students and teachers will display their activities and discuss the impact that Rotherham Ready has had on their enterprise learning and school culture.
