News: nCode acquired by HBM

By

nCode International, a leading supplier of durability, test and analysis software has been acquired by German company, HBM. The deal was completed last month and is thought to be worth around £20m. The acquisition of nCode brings new and complementary technologies, expertise and products into HBM's portfolio. Andreas Huellhorst, HBM’s Managing Director said: "nCode has a long-established reputation as the leader in durability and fatigue analysis. There is a complementary fit between nCode’s product offering and HBM’s, enabling the supply of the full testing cycle from virtual test to physical test. This acquisition will not only increase HBM’s range of available solutions but will also strengthen our presence in North America and Asia." nCode's European headquarters are within the ITC at the Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham and the company will operate within HBM and retain the prestigious software brands of nCode. HBM is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Spectris plc.
