News: Determined Rotherham entrepreneur scoops award

Jamie Litchfield’s company Aquaforce Plumbing & Heating Ltd (APH Ltd) has been named the Business Most Determined to Succeed at the Rotherham Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2008. Aquaforce already employs 15 people with industrial, commercial and domestic contracts all over the UK. The 30-year-old father-of-three set up the company with partner Philip Finchett after a six year apprenticeship - and now has three apprentices of his own that he is passing his skills to, and is CORGI registered. The former Rawmarsh Comprehensive School pupil said: "RiDO and the Youth Enterprise team have given me a lot of help. They help me go through the different stages of development and continue to be a great source of advice whenever I need it.
