Aimee Blake (6) recently came to Magna Science Adventure Centre in Rotherham and was not expecting the balloon reception to announce Magna's 1.5 millionth visitor. Aimee's ticket was purchased by her dad, Robert, online using Magna's new online ticketing system which has recently been launched on
http://www.visitmagna.co.uk/. In celebration, Magna awarded the landmark visitors with a family membership for four for one year. Magna is based inside the former Templeborough steel works and re-opened in April 2001. Visitor numbers exceeded the 300,000 first annual target in just six months. As well as being one of the region's top tourist destination, Magna is the venue for national events and awards.
