South Yorkshire’s first indoor golf academy is now open. Golf enthusiasts can now improve their technique with professional coaching at a newly opened, state-of-the-art golf academy. South Grove Golf Academy is located at South Grove House on the edge of Rotherham town centre. It will offer golfers the chance to enhance their technique and knowledge of the game in a brand new indoor facility. Video analysis and coaching software is used to enable players to view their swing on a computer screen simultaneously from two different angles and compare it to that of a professional. Those who attend the academy can take away a DVD of their session, giving them a chance to review their technique at home. PGA professional golfer Robert Wragg, who has over 20 years as a successful golf professional will head up the academy. Robert has been fortunate enough to have been coached by the best in Europe and now he wants to pass on this knowledge. The academy can offer progression for golfers at any level with measurable results. Robert said: "The indoor facility provides a relaxed and comfortable environment to improve players' technique, without the restrictions of daylight hours or unpredictable weather conditions. "The facilities enable us to coach players of all levels, so the academy can benefit both beginners and budding professionals.
