News: Last call for Rotherham innovators to enter awards

The Innovator 09 awards closing date of 16th January is fast approaching and innovative companies and individuals across the region are being invited to compete for one of the six awards, carrying a £3,000 prize. Yorkshire Forward’s Innovator 09 awards celebrate companies and individuals in Yorkshire and Humber who have embraced innovation and developed, alone or in partnership, new ideas, products, technologies or ways of working in order to improve their business. University departments and facilities that are involved with industrial collaborations are also invited to enter as they too work to overcome the challenges of today’s increasingly competitive marketplace. Jim Farmery, Assistant Director of Business for Yorkshire Forward comments: "Yorkshire and Humber has developed a diverse mixed economy which gives us resilience in difficult times. "It’s more important than ever therefore that we reward companies and individuals for their dedication to innovation in their work."
