News: More enterprising Rotherham primary school pupils ready to make money grow
The sixth round of Rotherham Ready's "Make £5 blossom" has been launched.
Over 3,500 pupils have already taken part in the project where local primary schools are "loaned" £150 from their business partner over three months. The schools and business professionals then work in partnership with the students to help them see their investment grow.
The latest group of five primary schools, their students and business partners have shared their plans and received their £150 cheques from the companies they've been paired with.
The schools involved are Brinsworth Whitehill Primary, Woodsetts Primary, Wath Central Primary, Aston Hall J&I and St Thomas CE Primary.
The business partners involved are: Barnsley Rotherham Chamber Enterprise Division, The SYPTE, In Touch Care, The Ultimate Balloon Company and Inside Out Schools.
