News: Another global order for Martek Marine
A major offshore support services company based in Qatar has placed an order for 46 Lifeforce defibrillators from Rotherham-based Martek Marine.
The company owns and operates a fleet of vessels consisting of Anchor Handling Tugs, Safety Standby Vessels, Crew Boats, Diving Support Vessels, Wellhead Maintenance Vessels, Wire Line Support Vessels and Construction Vessels.
The order will see all the vessels fitted with Martek's system for the treatment of any crew members who are struck down by sudden cardiac arrest.
Lifeforce is the only defibrillator to be Type Approved for marine use and with clear voice prompts and just two buttons to press it is so simple that even an untrained member of crew could use it to save a life.
There are now over 1000 Lifeforce Marine AEDs on-board vessels around the world.
