News: Dormer brand attracting world-wide visitors to Rotherham
The global brand of Dormer Tools is helping to bring industry experts from around the world to their new multi-million pound site in Rotherham.
Visitors from Dubai, Jordan, Pakistan and Australia have already visited Dormer's facility at the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) since it opened in December last year.
Dormer Tools International is based within the new site and is tasked with building sales of application tooling into a number of key areas around the world, particularly the Middle East.
John Eustace, regional business area manager for Dormer International, said: "With the opening of the new site at the AMP we can invite agents and end-users to visit the facility and see what we have available, including the research and development centre and training room.
"We have seen them grasp this opportunity, leading to more investments in our products and an increase in the number of distributors promoting our application tooling with vigour."
Mr Amanullah Khan, owner of Al Wafa General Trading Establishment, added: "Having experience of more than 40 years in cutting tools business and having visited over 200 factories worldwide, I can say that Dormer's facility at the AMP is the best I have ever seen."
Lloyd Allen, originally from Rotherham but now working in Jordan as technical consultant for JordanAMCO, also recently made a visit to Dormer Tools.
He said: "Having used Dormer's tooling, seen the set-up at the AMP and witnessed how much time, money and effort they spend on development of tooling, I was impressed.
"I like how efficiently Dormer deals with all our enquiries. I cannot fault their service at all. We look forward to building a long-term relationship with Dormer in the future."
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) represents Dormer's biggest export market with a turnover of around £3 million. It has 17 distributors within the country alone, managed by Al Wafa General Trading Establishment, all tasked with promoting Dormer’s products to end-users.
