News: Rotherham Business Awards 2009 draw near
Local companies have under two weeks to finalise their category entries for next month's Rotherham Business Awards ceremony.
There are ten award categories open to entries from businesses eager to taste success on the evening of Friday October 23 at Magna. The deadline for entries is September 18.
The awards are open to companies in the Rotherham area and all members of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.
John Lewis, Chief Executive of Barnsley & Rotherham Chamber of Commerce, said: "With ten awards open to companies, there is at least one category to suit every business. I would encourage firms to describe all their achievements and successes in their applications, which must be submitted by the deadline of 18 September.
"The evening will provide a fantastic stage for local businesses to enjoy a night of success stories aplenty - the chance to get involved is one that should not be missed!"
The awards categories are:
• New Start Award (sponsored by RiDO)
• Business Growth Award (sponsored by Business Link Yorkshire)
• Invest in Skills Award (sponsored by Rotherham Work & Skills Board)
• Business in Partnership with the Community Award (sponsored by Rotherham Partnership)
