News: AESSEAL are still excellent in business
Rotherham firm, AESSEAL, has again been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Post's Excellence in Business Awards.
The company is the world's fourth largest mechanical seal business with a global footprint in 31 countries.
They specialise in the design and manufacture of mechanical seals, bearing protectors and environmental control systems for process equipment, maximising reliability and protecting the environment from leakage.
The Templeborough firm are shortlisted amongst top Yorkshire Businesses in two categories - Exporter of the Year and Companies with a turn-over of more than £50m.
AESSEAL just missed out to Sheffield Forgemasters last year in the Companies with a turn-over of more than £50m category.
Peter Charlton, the Editor of the Yorkshire Post, said: "It has arguably been the most challenging year on record for many businesses, with problems caused by lack of credit and suppliers or customers going bust.
"But in the face of these difficult conditions, Yorkshire businesses are coming up with some truly innovative and enterprising actions.
"It is tough out there, but it is inspiring to see the resilience and spirit of our companies and we are proud to be able to showcase qualities like these in the Excellence in Business Awards."
