News: Bluetree invests in Rotherham print facility

By

Rotherham based Bluetree Design & Print Ltd has invested in a new printer to extend its services and win new business.

A HP Scitex FB7500 printer has recently been installed at the Templeborough site that will see the large format, traditional screen print specialist pioneer the use of variable data in wide-format printing.

This means that Bluetree's system can create customised applications such as versioned posters, point of purchase and point of sale displays, exhibition graphics, signage and backlit displays.

With its ability to shorten the production process, the new system will allow Bluetree to reduce its turnaround times and produce work within increasingly shorter deadlines, enabling staff to concentrate on other areas of production.

This will lead to a new cost-effective, high-quality, short-run digital printing service for smaller retailers. This service will enable local retailers to create professional quality, wide-format marketing material, that will allow them to compete with more established brands in the marketplace.

Bryan Shirley, managing director, Bluetree Design & Print said: "We believe that the versatility of the new printer and our ability to offer fully personalised applications will help us win more from our existing customers as well as attracting new business."

"Bluetree has established a reputation for producing the best possible quality items for our customers and it was vital that any new equipment that we invested in reflected this."
