News: Yorkshire Crisps in Tesco for Christmas
Rotherham-made Yorkshire Crisps will be available in 45 Tesco Yorkshire stores in the run up to the festive season.
Flavours of Lightly Sea Salted, Cheddar & Caramelised Onion Chutney, Chardonnay Wine Vinegar and Henderson's Yorkshire Sauce in 50g bags will be available in-store from November.
Yorkshire Crisps Sales Director Tim Wheatley says: "We're very happy to add Tesco to our list of outlets and reach a new audience of shoppers. The crisps will be on clip strips around the store, so we are not just confined to the crisps aisle, they can be found throughout!"
Tesco Regional Buyer Sam Nundy says: "I was so impressed with the quality of Yorkshire Crisps, that we are stocking them in every Tesco Metro, Superstore and Extra in the region.
"We're committed to supporting local producers and we hope our customers are too."
Yorkshire Crisps are also available in independent retailers, as well as Yorkshire branches of Sainsbury's, Morrison's, Booths and The Co-op.
Established in 2005, the company produces luxury hand-cooked crisps in Waleswood, Rotherham, and prides itself in only using quality produce grown in the region by local farmers. The company plans to unveil a new flavour in the near future.
