News: Questar Communication go back to school

By

Rotherham design and marketing company Questar Communication has been helping Rotherham entrepreneurs of tomorrow as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Strengthening the link between business and education, Questar sent one of their top designers to support staff and pupils at St Bernard's Catholic School, Rotherham.

Following the recent commissioning of Questar to design and build a full content managed website for St Bernard's, the school opened their doors to the agency as an opportunity to both showcase their young talent and for pupils to grill local designers about their work and ideas.

Julian Potter, a chief designer at Questar spent the morning chatting with pupils about their work, the design process and giving advice to the budding entrepreneurs including working to a realistic brief to design a name and logo for a new fruit drink.

Julian said: "It was great to see the energy and enthusiasm the children put into their work. Having a chance to design for a commercial-themed project may just inspire a new generation of local design talent.

"Questar would like to thank St Bernard's for this opportunity to strengthen the links between local schools and business within the borough".

Global Entrepreneurship week is billed as a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.

Other local schools and colleges taking part this year include Rotherham College of Arts and Technology, Brinsworth Comprehensive and Wingfield Business and Education College.
