News: New Year, new start for businesses in Rotherham
The Rotherham Enterprise project are running drop-in style sessions to offer free business advice out in the community.
The sessions will offer budding entrepreneurs or those just at the idea stage, who need support, a chance to discuss and assess business ideas with the help of experienced professionals.
Geoff Link, from Rotherham Enterprise said: "With a new year comes a new opportunity to look forward and improve existing business plans with fresh eyes. Now, through the help of our expert community business coaches, anyone can come along to the organised sessions and receive top quality advice on how to shape and develop their enterprise."
Individuals who are considering self employment can also benefit from the coaches, who will provide professional tips on how feasible their idea may be and how to go about researching the market, including looking at the competition and assessing price levels.
Rachel Clark, community business coach manager at RiDO, one of the four partner organisations which make up Rotherham Enterprise, said:"Someone may have a brilliant business idea, but if they are unsure of how to put the wheels into motion, they could miss out on a fantastic possibility of having a successful career if they don't have the support to explore those options.
"With these awareness sessions, direction on how to devise and implement business plans are just some of the services on offer from our trained coaches, helping both established organisations and those taking the first steps on their path into the world of business, flourish."
