News: Six deals at Century Park Networkcentre in Rotherham
In the current property market downturn Century Park Networkcentre based in Manvers, Rotherham is experiencing an influx of new tenants with six deals recently completing and more in the pipeline.
The first deal sees Dearne Valley Engineering, part of a group of companies, take nearly 3,000 sq ft of workspace on a 3-year lease. The group, who have been trading for 78 years, provide round-the-clock engineering and fabrication support to major manufacturers across the UK, now supported locally in the South Yorkshire area.
Area Branch Manager, Daz Charlesworth said: "Due to the expansion of our regional office we required further floor space for our engineering equipment. The key factor in our decision to take a unit at Century Park Networkcentre was its excellent location which allows access to the motorway links meaning we can easily service our clients throughout the UK."
Joining Dearne Valley Engineering at the site are Jacks Discount, Specialist Cooling Ltd, KFV Cosmetics, Lyca Engineering Ltd and Greens Electrical Maintenance Ltd, who've taken units ranging in size from 750 to 1,500 sq ft on 3 to 5-year leases.
In addition, existing tenant print company Technical Print Ltd have recently upgraded into a larger unit on the site.
Owner of Technical Print, Craig Raistrick added: "The size range of units at Century Park Networkcentre meant that we could move in to the larger space we required without having to change address."
Claire Chisholm, Property Manager at Network Space, said: "We are delighted to welcome new tenants to the site, and the upgrading of Technical Print's occupation in to a larger unit demonstrates that the philosophy behind Century Park Networkcentre works.
"The site is now 55% percent occupied and with more deals in the pipeline we hope to be fully let in the none to distant future. When you take into account the current economic climate and the fact phase two only completed less than a year ago, I think the success at Century Park Networkcentre shows Network Space is fulfilling its remit of providing superior accommodation for SMEs across the country."
Century Park Networkcentre in Manvers is a high quality office and workspace development built by Network Space, a joint venture between developers Langtree and the Homes and Communities Agency. Current occupiers also include Gerco, Selecta UK, Eco Redwood Windows and Wren Turbines.
