News: Moorhead Savage expands at Moorgate Crofts

By

Rotherham insolvency practitioners Moorhead Savage have taken further office space at RiDO's Moorgate Crofts Business Centre.

The company is doubling its office space and the move coincides with the appointment of new staff to deal with the sharp increase in enquiries from both companies and members of the public.

Paul Moorhead, company founder and licensed insolvency practitioner, said: "We have been in the Moorgate Crofts Business Centre for 12 months now and find we are ideally placed to meet clients from across South Yorkshire and beyond.

"We are delighted that we are able to expand, therefore, without leaving our base.

"We have seen the volume of enquiries rise month on month over the past year and we felt we needed more space to give our clients a more comfortable and pleasant environment for meeting the team."

In July, Moorhead Savage secured a RiDO Kick Start loan to enable the expansion.

The Kick Start scheme is available for Rotherham-based companies and provides small loans up to a maximum of £5,000 at a low fixed interest rate.

To be eligible for the scheme a business must have been trading for at least six months.

Corus subsidiary, UK Steel Enterprise established local Kickstart Funds to assist small businesses in areas such as Rotherham and Stocksbridge, working in partnership with local organisations including RiDO, SEntA, STEP and the Universities.
