News: BG Controls appoints operations manager

Award-winning Rotherham building controls expert BG Controls has appointed Ian Ross as the new Operations Manager for the South East.

Ian - aged 41 and from Islington in London has over 15 years of sector experience and joins the leading independent building controls company from NG Bailey.

Prior to this he was at Honeywell Building Solutions - he has held similar managerial roles at both companies.

In his new role, Ian will oversee and ensure efficient delivery of all projects in the BG's growing South East division.

Based in Dinnington, the BG Controls group of companies designs, manufactures, installs, commissions and services Building Management Systems. They provide specialist controls design, in-house motor control panel manufacture, in-house electrical installation, energy saving solutions, hotline customer support, service and maintenance.

Ian said: "I'm looking forward to my new role at BG. I joined the company because of the quality and strength of the team at BG and its reputation as a leading building controls expert.

"This is a great opportunity as the South East is a fairly new region for BG and it will be good to develop the market with a growing company."
