News: New contracts and staff for Assured Fire and Security

By

Rotherham-based Assured Fire and Security has secured a number of new contracts as they begin another year of growth.

Assured has upgraded the intruder alarm system for key customer Remploy at their Sheffield factory in Brightside Lane, introducing a full police response monitoring system.

They are also developing out links with Magnox Nuclear Power, after recent installations where Assured engineers have installed a gas fire suppression system in the IT suite at the Magnox's Gloucestershire headquarters.

In a new deal, Systagenix, the world leader in wound treatment, has called in Assured Fire and Security for a major improvement of its fire alarm system at its Yorkshire base.

In addition, Mike Walker has been appointed as Fire and Security Services Sales Consultant for the North East.

"This is a major growth area for us so Mike's arrival is extremely important," said Assured Sales Manager Matt Tolkien.

"This new appointment is in line with our vision to become a key player in the fire and security market on a national scale and further demonstrates our commitment to growth in 2011."
