News: Assured prepares for another year of growth

Senior management at Rotherham's Assured Fire and Security have all been undergoing executive training as they prepare for another year of growth and development.

Simon Stokes, the Managing Director of the Dinnington business, has already signed up with Vistage International, the world's largest executive training and support organisation.

And he is being followed by the company's Sales Manager, Matt Tolkien, who has undergone the Vistage programme of executive leadership coaching.

At the same time, Assured Operations Director Matt Spivey has completed an executive management leadership course with Harrogate based international leadership training company 2 Inspire.

Simon Stokes said: "The year ahead is going to an extremely important one for us as we take the company forward in exciting new directions.

"To be ready for the challenges we face as we expand, it is vitally important that all senior management have the skills and confidence to lead our expanding team.

"I myself have been a Vistage member for a year now and the company has already changed significantly because of the skills I have learnt from other people in the group and from the Vistage guest speakers.

"Our installations manager, Simon Glew, has now signed up for the same course so the full team will then be fully trained and ready to lead the team through 2011."

In November, Assured launched a five-year plan that aims to transform the expanding Rotherham company into the country's leading fire and security specialist.
