News: Solaglas Windowcare relocate in Rotherham
Solaglas Windowcare has completed their relocation across Rotherham to Brookfields Park in the Dearne Valley.
The company is the UK leader in the repair and replacement of windows and doors on behalf of major organisations including those from the insurance, commercial and public sectors. Currently, the business has 325 employees and reported a turnover of over £23.5m in 2009.
The move from Hellaby was prompted by sustained business growth and sees them locate to a lighter and larger factory with additional site space that will help future-proof the building and accommodate business growth.
The Waterlands building also features better parking facilities, improved offices designed for disability access, a dedicated first aid room and training suite, a greater number of meeting rooms, a fully-serviced canteen offering hot and cold meals throughout the day and a state-of-the-art IT infrastructure has been installed including a VOIP telephone system.
Ian Davy, director at Solaglas Windowcare, said: "I would like to thank all involved for their efforts; especially as so many gave up a large proportion of their festive period to ensure it happened smoothly. The new building is fantastic and we are lucky to be starting the New Year with such a positive step."
Brookfields Park is the last remaining development site on the Manvers enterprise zone in Rotherham. It is owned by South Yorkshire-based developer St Paul's Developments and its funding partner Tritax Assets and has high profile occupiers including Next Plc, Maplin Electronics, Garnett Dickinson and, Pegler Yorkshire Group.
